2. Roles and Responsibilities

In most cases, the company or organization providing access to the Service acts as the Data Controller, while avail.guide acts as the Data Processor, processing data on behalf of that organization.

Your Data Controller is typically your employer, contracting agency, or the organization that granted you access to the Service.

  • Managing guide availability
  • Planning and assigning services
  • Coordinating office and guide workflows
  • Sending assignment-related notifications
  • Keeping operational logs and assignment history
  • Maintaining, securing, and improving the Service

Personal data is processed on the basis of the legitimate interests of the customer organization, the performance of contractual obligations, and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.

  • Access to the Service is protected by authentication and role-based permissions
  • Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections

We do not sell personal data. Personal data may only be processed by trusted service providers that support the operation of the Service, such as hosting or infrastructure providers, and only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

Such requests should normally be addressed to the relevant Data Controller, meaning the organization that provided access to the Service.
